The Process

The Town of Woodstock’s water treatment plant currently produces approximately 800,000 gallons of finished water per day for use by distribution system customers.

Treatment is accomplished through a conventional surface water treatment plant employing various methods of physical and chemical reactions to achieve the desired finished water quality.

Each year, the facility prepares and distributes to system customers the Annual Consumer Confidence Report on Drinking Water in cooperation with the Virginia Department of Health. This report details aspects of the drinking water testing and analysis results, in addition to providing timely information on water conservation and overall water usage. Please reference the Water Quality Report.
